| Introduction | Good day visitor! My name is Amanda VanDyke and I am a journalism graduate student at the University of Illinois. Home is back in western Michigan where I live in the countryside near the beach, it is lovely. I am engaged to a wonderful man and he is off being cool at racing school. I love teaching and hope to do that for the rest of my days, with some travel mixed in here and there. I have also just started an adventure as a columnist and love doing infographics :o) Have a tremendously wonderous day! |

| Favorite music | Josh Groban, Relient K, Backstreet Boys, the "old" Mariah Carey and monster ballads. I like Christian, Pop, Classical, Country, Rap, Oldies, Jazz, well most anything I guess except for Metal. |
| Favorite books | The Bible, anything by Scott Hahn, Louisa May Alcott or Nicholas Sparks. Catholic books and the Bellamy Blossoms series. |
