Introduction	Poulton Karate Academy is a traditional Japanese Shotokan Karate club based at Hodgson Academy, Moorland Road at Poulton Le Fylde. The club claims direct lineage from Funakoshi's Karate. Nakayama, Kanazawa, Asai, Asano and Kato Kancho, all of which are Japan Karate Association Instructors Class students. Sensei’s Adamson, McLaughlin, Wills, and Berry are the clubs senior grades however we encourage everyone to share their knowledge of Karate. Training: 7pm Tuesday and Thursday evenings until 8:30pm. The club is fully insured with DBS and First Aid trained instructors. Not only does the club offer traditional Karate, the club is eager to promote effective self defence techniques that will work outside of the clubs dojo.
