You get to ride the big roller coaster three times in a row. What will keep your dad from taking a bite out of your candy apple?

First of all, I would never buy a candy apple. Secondly, I would buy a caramel apple, but it would be eaten in 30 seconds flat, giving me ample time to board the roller coaster and leaving my dad apple-less, waiting at the finish line, which he would prefer since he doesn't care for sweets.
