Theol. Sem., NC,'74,& '76; M.A. Counseling, Liberty U, VA, '88; 18 hrs towrd Ph.D. in History, 6 hrs u. SCarolina, 12 hrs. Columbia U, NY, '71). Taught American History, Philosophy, Political Science in College, Taught 7 subjects in seminary extension, Counselor in High School. Married to a wonderful wife for 39 yrs. 2 children. Son a Southern Baptist Preacher, too.

Favorite movies	The Patriot, one of my ancestors was in the battle of Guilford Court House in American Revolution. The Wind Talkers. My bro.-in-law was in the invasion of Saipan, and my grandfather's brother was in intelligence on MacArthur's staff.
Favorite music	Christian, Classical, Country, & some other forms of music at times, e.g., the musical theme from the movieChariots of Fire
Favorite books	I have three areas of likes here, books on theology (which mean the Bible, first, word studies,etc.), history, and counseling. Church History, esp. Baptist, Civil War, Intellectual subjects (my M.A. is in American Social & intellectual History).
