Introduction	As a stay-at-home mom my days are spent chasing after my very active daughter, attempting to help my husband, getting lost in books, supporting the best team in the NHL, the Detroit Red Wings, exploring the gorgeous Upper Peninsula, and spending time with family and friends. (I chose to leave out all the boring, mundane tasks of being a mommy/wife like laundry and cleaning for now) Of course, I am always trying to find something to laugh, learn and write about along the way. Hence, my blog.
Interests	reading,Detroit Red Wings hockey, the NFL (Go Packers!), walking/jogging, my cats, hanging out with my family, shopping (of course), and pretty much anything outdoors.
Favorite movies	"Pride and Prejudice" - but the one with Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy- not the newer version with Keira Knightly, "Braveheart", "Breakfast Club" (hey, I grew up in the 80's), "Emma" (sorry, I am a Jane Austen freak), "Spaceballs", and way too many more to name.
Favorite music	Currently I am on a "Five for Fighting" and "Three Doors Down" kick, almost any country or any old 80's music, Josh Groban, all the great composers like Mozart, and almost anything aside from rap music and jazz, I can enjoy.
Favorite books	I am an English major so this is sort of impossible. Any Jane Austen, Chaucer, Shakespeare, love Dickens, as far as current authors I like Jodi Picoult quite a bit, love Sharon Kay Penman who wrote "The Reckoning" and "The Sunne in Splendor", just finished "The Story of Pi" which was great, and "1000 White Women" which was very interesting too, but I am a voracious reader so to pick a few favorites is really tough.
