About me

Location	Scottish Borders
Introduction	I call myself a Celtic artist as I am of Welsh/Irish descent and was born in Wales. I was brought up and artistically nurtured on the beautiful island of Anglesey travelling to school past the sea shore with the mountains beyond. I moved away to attend Art College in Bournemouth, Sth England in the late sixties and after a stint in Den Haag and London I now live and paint in Berwickshire in the Scottish Borders. I've been here since the early 80's but will allways be an outsider just as my family were on Anglesey. It took me a while to see the beauty here because I allways longed for that which I'd known, but I love it here it is a beautiful region flowing rolling and open with the biggest and at times the most amazing skies.We came here because of the children and now they're grownup and away I'm in another phase of creativity.
