Introduction Like Marx,CiFs lives up north. Not by choice, but because he is quite bored of the south in which he grew up. CiFs works (or pretends to) in 'The Center', where he tries to theorize how to make a better world with paper. The good thing about that is that some people in other parts of the world often pay for him to go there and read the stupidities he writes, he usually brings back 500 pictures and 3 books. CiFs wouldn't really be a CiFs if there wasn't a K.; up high and equally important there is the M. across the border and the S. across the ocean... oh, and he recently left a very important G. in the greatest city of all. It's also worth mentioning a C. not too far from here, an A. in the heart of Europe, GyJ and Di. downtown, an Se. across the kitchen and many other letters that either stayed in the narrowest part of the continent or are scattered around the world. Coffee, croissant and The Economist in the mornings; red wine and Koskenniemi at night. CiFs is happy as long as there is paper, pencils and good music... but he would be happier if [insert your name] was here.

When you hesitate before hitting snooze on your alarm clock, are you being lazy?

No, I'm not, I'm being realistic. Nobody cares at what time I get to the office, nothing I do there is making the world any better, and the café across the street serves breakfast all day long.
