| Introduction | I do most of my work in the social enterprise space and so, I thought of starting a blog related to the subject though I'll also hit random topics that cross my mind and/or that I find fun. The blurb is more about me rambling than about what the meaning of the word blurb would suggest. Since I am a non-native speaker, I am keen to point that out… I grew up in Paris, France, lived there for 29 years and then left over 15 years ago to join a multinational company that "shipped" me to such interesting places as Dakar, Senegal, Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and Iquique, Chile. I came to the US in 97 and have lived in Boston and DC. I think I like DC better actually... I am an independent consultant now and my work centers on social investing and capacity building (strategy, effectiveness, and leadership). My clients include investors, social enterprises, NGOs, governments, and corporations. I have experience in sustainable development / conservation, int'l development, social justice, education / youth development, and arts and culture.
