| Introduction | I'm pursuing med school, preferably UCI- I dont want to go through any more details than that. But me as a person? I'm complex and very private. I have a small ring of people that I let in- I have such a hard time trusting people. You can thank my past for burning that bridge. Other than that, I’m known for being more of the happy-go-lucky type. I'm also a true Pisces girl- the absolute feminine, sometimes a dreamer, hahaha, with an extreme soft spot for those in pain. In fact, I love everything about being a woman, from the clothes that I wear to the way that I carry myself. I do my best to act as a true lady and as a result, I've gotten a lot of respect for it. Yes, there are girls that are more modern, but that is not me, no offense. I am not confident in myself in a lot of things, but one thing that I am sure of is being a true girly-girl, inside and out, I do not fake or imitate it, I just am. Water is my weakness, I could idle the hours away in the sand and the sun. In the meantime, I'm making small accomplishments, even stupid ones that I give myself credit for, like not getting lost in my own city I grew up in without having to call anyone for help or winning at PaiGow. |
| Interests | Anything that's different and most importantly, my usual: watching horror movies and anything that involves zombies... ugh, even the terrible ones... My absolute favorite thing to try to master is the human body- from studying signal transductions to using signs and symptoms and doing my own diagnosis, hahaha. I've been a natural in math and science nearly my whole life. I also have a soft spot for poetry, it's just a beautiful play on words, my sister in law (mona) wrote one and thought her words were just lovely to let it roll off your tongue. She is also a fish sign :) Love trying new wines, cheeses, I'm very active, at home, the gym or on the hilly trails and saying hello to the gophers that are curious enough to peep their cute heads out only to run back in their holes :) |
| Favorite movies | wow... well, Gone with the Wind- and no, not just a civil war romance, it's just a great movie about a shameless but gorgeous Scarlett O'Hara that slaps everyone for not getting her way... and yes, zombie movies, Shaun of the Dead, Tucker and Dale Vs Evil, SAW movies, Evil Dead movies, ugh... too many, I get lost in my guilty pleasures :) |
| Favorite music | vary day to day- but I miss having my dad around sometimes, so recently, been listening a lot of classic rock and makes me feel like he's around and proud of me knowing music that isn't "crap"... I was once a daddy's girl, now things are different... |
| Favorite books | Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre, so beautiful and indulgent to read on rainy nights, works by Lord Alfred Tennyson, a true artist of words without being pompous or gawdy, comic books (fave now is still Grimm fairy tales and their spin-offs) |
