| Introduction | My name is Zsofia Fath. I was born in Budapest. My parents are Monika and Ferenc Fath. They are also horseback riding coaches. Before they became coaches they were pentathletes. My dad was a european champion. So not surprising me and my little sister did pentathlon as well. I had done pentathlon for ten years before I decided to focus on only fencing.(Fencing is one of the fives sports in pentathlon.) The reason why I stopped pentathlon and chose fencing was I was pretty bad at shooting. I have made a good decision. I became more successful in fencing than I have ever been in pentathlon. That is why I am here in New York in the fencing team at St. John's. |
