| Introduction | My personal story is not unique. It is however, the reason this blog exists, since like many others, I have been a victim of spiritual abuse, in church settings as well as personal relationships. I can now look back on the years of personal trauma and abuse as a somewhat distant, but painful memory. I'm a physically disabled widow in my body, but free in my soul and spirit, advocating for, and with, the spiritually abused. This blog and enables me to provide a safe sanctuary for those who come wishing to share, comfort, and love one another in mutual acceptance without fear of censure or ostrazation.
