Introduction	Noel Martin: A Newfoundlander by birth and an Ontarian by choice, Noel paints "em the way he sees 'em. A gifted creative artist all his life, his interest in oil painting only took fire after retirement. It has now become a true passion. Earthy vibrant, poetic and original are words that are most often used to describe his paintings that are now becoming widely recognized within the Georgian Bay, Ontario area and elsewhere. For those unfamiliar with his work, keep your eye out in the local galleries for his unique signature. The reason for his personal slogan "The man who puts the art in Martin" will become obvious. And hey, he's not shy about suggesting that the easiest way to make your grandchildren rich is to buy one of his paintings. But then again, what artist worth his pigment doesn't have at least a trace of an ego! Carol-Ann Barrett: Born in Owen Sound, Ontario Carol-Ann realized from an early age, she had a flair for art. She has dabbled in many media and is mostly self-taught. In addition to her romantic and finely detailed oil paintings, she also produces works on wood, glass and metal.
