Introduction	Welcome to 'Concerning this'. You are invited to consider with me how the dynamic social scene is influencing our personal and social well being. I will discuss concerns through the filters developed from my background and interests as: * a Ph.D. sociologist and professor of social problems, social movements, social organization, marriage and family, juvenile delinquency, and research methods; and * a Christian wife and mother who raised 3 children who were born in the 1960's. * Additional concerns are discussed in my book published in 2003, entitled, Wrestling With Angels - The Sexual Revolution Confronts the Church. The website for this book is located at http://www.wrestlingwithangels.com ******** A YEAR OF CONCERNS - March 27, 2009. In March of 2009 'Concerning This' celebrated it's first birthday with a brief summary of issues discussed during the year, with a focus on concerns related to our breakdown of family relationships and changing sexual behaviors and our movement toward secular socialism.
