About me

Introduction	I am a reader and a teacher-to-be. I love the feel and smell of old books, and the New York Times online, and the way words put together into sentences can create emotions, thoughts, and experiences. I want students to find hope in books and to practice hope by practicing reading. I want teachers to walk in their classrooms with a renewed sense of hope every day, believing that they and their students can and will learn. I am a graduate student at the University of New Haven in Connecticut, studying to become an English teacher. I work as an intern at an urban public school.
