| Introduction | About 3 years ago, I accidently landed on a collage/mixed media site because I typed an 'a' instead of an 'e'. That typo opened a whole new world where I quickly applied for residency. Having a bit of an artistic bent, I had always searched for an outlet. Tried knitting & crochet, but I looked like I was conducting an orchestra. Then came needlepoint but that was tedious & boring. Gave a valiant go at beading but the only thing I have to show is a bunch of loose beads. Wanna buy some? LOL Drawing was out coz I couldn't even trace right. Forget about painting-I was a whiz at anything abstract & could take any color & turn it into different shades of mud. So when I stumbled on that collage site, it was love at first site. Scissors & glue I could handle....hey, I've been practicing since kindergarten! |
