Introduction I am a tenure-track faculty member at a 3,000-student public HBCU embracing the academic life and my new city of New Orleans. My doctorate is in Adult, Higher and Community Education with a cognate in Communication Studies (from Ball State University). My Master's degree is in Communication Studies while my Bachelor's degree from Purdue University is in Agricultural Communication with minors in Communication Studies and International Studies. I currently teach Communication courses to undergraduates. I am interested in the culture of higher education, faculty development, instructional communication, technology and pedagogy, international studies and comparative education and can't wait to see what the future holds!
