Introduction	I am learning how to garden, to grow, and to embrace change. Launching this blog, and indeed this lifestyle, is something very new for me. I moved to Mill Creek after enjoying a lovely little house in town on a cul-de-sac with a tiny backyard garden. After many hours of scrubbing, painting, tilling, and burning, the land and the house are starting to come alive! A few months ago I contemplated leaving my little spot to join the Peace Corps and go to Africa, but have made the decision to stay here; to see where this adventure takes me! So begins Two Bees Farm. I plan to start slowly by providing vegetables, herbs, honey, eggs, and other goodies to about 8 folks who have chosen to be a part of this learning process. I envision an educational learning center where families and students can learn and grow through hands-on experiences. I currently grow in a small garden space that is expanding. I keep about 20 heritage breed chickens, and maintain 2 bee hives. I anticipate these ventures expanding and plan to write about them as the adventures are lived.
