| Introduction | Since I turned 40 in 2011, I decided it was time to stop playing around about losing weight so I could live up to that "40 and Fabulous" saying! I tried Weight Watchers 4 times in my life (2001, 2003, 2005, 2011), and each time, I liked it less and less (and lost less and less, even though it costs a lot). I decided to start the HCG protocol because 3 of my friends tried it in 2011 to much success. I have stuck with it, because, while we all have our ups and downs, there are still DOWNS with HCG, that I didn't get after trying my own thing. After a time, they just stopped. I've been following the HCG protocol since October 2011, and I've kept off 60 pounds (still more to go!). HCG is medically proven too. Since the 1950s. How had I not heard of this? |
| Interests | I love Jesus, I am single, an official Aunt to 2, but an honorary Aunt to 5 (and have even more beloved littles in my life than I can count). I have a small & cozy home, that many think looks inside and out like a little British cottage. I have a safe car and a good (albeit stressful & high-pressure) job. I'm a Bradley University graduate (English + Secondary Education). I am a daughter, granddaughter, friend, Aunt, honorary Aunt, goofball, Anglophile (I'm potty about all things British) and a Christian. I love Jesus, my family, my friends, reading (mostly dead British authors), British movies and tele (mostly book adaptations), knitting, crocheting, hiking, swimming (although not being seen IN a swimsuit), biking, gardening, kiddos, dogs and cats (although I'm allergic), watching movies, trees (but I'm NOT a tree-hugger), history and travel, I love the UK (I wish I could bold that one). I LOVE the writings of CS Lewis, Jane Austen, Elizabeth Gaskell, some Tolkien and the HP series by Rowling. I love long talks or hanging out with friends and I love being silent depending on the day/situation. I like being with people, and then getting time alone. All of the personality profiles show me smack dab in the middle of being an extroverted introvert (that means, I only want to be with people until I need to be alone). :-) |
