Introduction	I am a loving wife and mother. My daughter and son bring me joy that is like nothing I've ever known before them. I am grateful for my amazing family and the unconditional love and support they provide. My husband and I learned in January 2011 that we were expecting a child (our son). We were thrilled and so grateful for the blessing of another child, a sibling for our little girl. On May 6, 2011 we attended a routine ultrasound and learned that our sweet little boy has anencephaly. I am hopeful that this blog will bring me the therapeutic release that I need. I am also hoping that others may find this blog helpful as I have found so many others who have shared their journey with anencephaly so unbelievably helpful. Finally, I am hopeful that my family and friends will visit this site as they wish in order to obtain updates on our son and our family.
