| Introduction | Hello, I guess I should get the formalities out of the way. Everyone knows me as Chrisy so that’s how I’ll introduce myself. I have a strong thirst to be the opposite of my parents financially so I’ve been really hard on myself to lower my debt, increase my savings, and retire happy and as a home owner. This blog was launched to help inspire anyone who wants to live the dream of owning a home or increase their personal finance knowledge. I am addicted to learning about the home buying process and I am preparing myself and basically forcing my husband to do the same. Practical wallet is about being practical with your money, growing your money, and eventually placing your money where it benefits you best. Our three focus areas are home purchase planning, personal finance planning, and retirement planning.
