| Introduction | My name is Steve and I live in Northwest Indiana. Secondarily to being a father and a husband, I'm a runner. I started running in the fall of 2005. My family has had a history of heart disease and I realized how unhealthy I was. I've always struggled with my weight, and I know I always will. I challenged myself to run a 5K in the spring of 2006 in 30 minutes. I reached my goal with 0.4 seconds to spare!! After that first race I was hooked. I hate the fact that I have to run just to keep from gaining weight, but I'm glad that I have found something that helps me and I love to do. I always finish races at the back of the pack, but you meet the best people back there! |
