| Introduction | I have been a “Believer in Christ” for many years, since the age of ten. It took some time to understand the Christian life in terms of application, but by High School, I had firmly committed myself to serving God. Following Bible School, I married my wife, Carolyn, and had two boys who are now both in college. Early in our marriage, I was involved in Church planting and pastored for eight years in active ministry. During a sabbatical period, I decided to enter secular employment, and built a career path primarily within the food and beverage manufacturing and distribution industry, including senior management positions in marketing and strategic business development. I also worked within management of the retail fashion industry. My wife, Carolyn, works in education as a junior high teacher in several subjects. I continue to be her most trying student to date, always testing her patience and attempt to instruct. Together we have fun… my job is to make her laugh or sometimes perhaps cry! We put to test the notion that opposites attract, but love each other all the more. |
