Introduction	Hi! I'm Clancy. I take great joy in my family, friends, pets, traveling and of course - writing. I have a B.A. in English and an M.A. in E.S.L. from the University of Texas, so I am aware of the rules whether I actually follow them or not. My favorite saying is “Excellence, not perfection.”
Interests	I'm a writer, movie-phile, TV junkie, avid reader and all around regular type person with regular type tastes - meaning accessible to a broad spectrum of people. I do not like things just because they are popular though. But I am relatively easy to please, so take it for what it is.
Favorite movies	Let's just say I never turn away from "Grosse Pointe Blank", "The Hunt for Red October", "French Kiss"... never mind - there's too many to list.
Favorite music	Classical, Big Band, anything by the Rat Pack, oldies, show tunes, alternative, The Beatles, Elvis, and oh so much more. Let's call it ecclectic taste.
Favorite books	Hands down favorite book of all time is "Atlas Shrugged" but I have many favorite authors - old and new that include (to name only a few) Marion-Zimmer Bradley, Anne McCaffrey, Victoria Dahl, Grace Burrows, Nora Roberts, and always Ayn Rand.
