Introduction	Impractical and idealistic, I am a perpetual student of human nature. I try hard to have a sense of humour about myself but don't always succeed. I have lived most of my life in developing countries where I find people more spontaneous and generous and I feel alienated living in modern developed countries which seem to be full of self-important and comfortable people who will not be distracted from the lusty pursuit of their materialistic ambitions. Although Adelaide is the most beautiful city I have ever lived in, I know I will have to 'learn to be lonely' here. (The title song from 'Phantom of the Opera') I intend to rob a bank soon to fund my retirement. I might as well be in prison anyway.
