| Introduction | I'm Hollie Marble. I'm a mother of two, a small-town librarian on the Western Slope of Colorado, a reader, a scrapbooker, a photographer, and someone with entirely too much "muchness" for polite company. I talk fast, I love hard, and I have never once been accused of being low-energy. I'm not a therapist. I'm not a psychologist. I don't have a wall of degrees or a string of letters after my name. What I have is lived experience, an obsessive love of research (librarian, remember?), and a deep, stubborn belief that people deserve the truth about what they're going through — even when that truth is uncomfortable.I believe healing isn't a destination. It's just growing. We all do the best we can with the awareness we have, and the more we know, the better off we are. It doesn't matter if you're still in a toxic relationship, just figuring things out, deep in denial, years into recovery, or decades past it — I 'd love to meet you wherever you are.I don't have my shit together. Not even close. But I've learned that you don't have to have it all figured out to help someone else feel less alone. |
