Introduction I recently returned to Texas, after living in Alaska for 12 years. I enjoy a non-stop interest in fiber arts....art quilts, wearable art, machine and hand stitching, nuno felting, and occasionally knitting. Creativity is expressed in many ways. I have been fortunate in the past ten years to show some of my pieces in galleries and craft shows in Alaska and look forward to life back in Texas! As far back as I can remember....I have delighted in making things. I wanted to start a blog so that I could share what I love to do. I welcome feedback and interest. Thank you for visiting my blog!
Interests Creative expression using fibers of many types, as well as the endless array of fiber manipulations and surface embellishments that can contribute to the finished piece of fiber art. I'm appreciative of the science that shows us how being creative is good for our hearts and minds. I view being creative as a valid health intervention! If you can add music and healthy foods to this process, you might just have a perfect recipe for living a long & healthier life.
Favorite Movies Too many to list.....I love watching movies!
Favorite Music Smooth Jazz; Chamber; Blues; Acoustic; Soul...
