| Introduction | I am a Christian lesbian (I choose to identify as Christian first so as to glorify my risen Savior Jesus Christ). I have been influenced by Christ and Christianity since childhood. Recently I have been questioning both my Christianity and sexuality again. I have been in a couple lesbian relationships. While in the first relationship, my girlfriend at the time, a church go-er, encouraged me to ‘get back to God’ as I had begun straying since I was questioning whether or not I could be both gay and Christian. I can honestly say if it weren’t for that relationship, which began as a friendship, I would not have turned back to God. I have since determined, since this year actually (2009) that whether or not I pursue another lesbian relationship, that I will never again doubt God’s love for me, or my love for Him, as He has demonstrated to me that no matter what, He loves me. That said, I have once again found myself questioning my beliefs, where my sexuality is concerned. For this reason,I have decided to start a blog. |
