| Introduction | After surprising ourselves with the choice to birth our first child at home, my Smoochy and I have made a slow progression away from the main stream. These days we talk about eradicating poison ivy from our property without using Round-up and whether we should get ducks or not. We keep bees and chickens, and we are committed to homeschooling our kids. What happened to the Drunken Sailor and the Whiskey-Slingin’ Barmaid who lived on Taco Bell and tequila?
