Introduction	is a free public service run by MAXIMUS, a leading provider of employment services for governments across the US, Australia, Israel and the UK. In the past several months, we recognized that despite record-high unemployment levels, there was no clearinghouse of resources for the unemployed. Our goal in creating Unemployment 411 was to offer timely resources, tips, and advice for how to navigate the unemployment process and position yourself to secure a new job. Our bloggers are comprised of senior leadership within MAXIMUS, who have a breadth of experience in running programs that help individuals find jobs; members of the think tank and academic communities; and representatives from federal, state, and county governments.
