| Introduction | I specialize in grief and trauma recovery: Somatic Experiencing, EMDR and gentle Emotional Release in conjunction with Mindfulness and Visualisation build the foundation of my work, but I have trained in other modalities as well. I am very confident and relaxed in guiding you through your process with loving gentleness, understanding and professionalism and I enjoy working on a deep and lasting level, strengthening and building new neural connections. As all trauma is stored in the body I focus on working somatic. The body has a unique ability to heal itself and is our greatest link to our subconscious. Thanks to Somatic Experiencing I don’t focus on repeating the overwhelming details of the trauma story, but instead assist you to move out of the shock and distress by gently observing the body’s needs and its natural desire to discharge the pent up trauma energy.
