Introduction	Ignacio is an award winning journalist. He grew up in Miami Springs, Florida. At the age of 15, he moved to Guayaquil, Ecuador where he not only received an excellent education in school, but also in life and soccer. Soon after, Ignacio enrolled in Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, FL and wrote the in the sports column for the Santa FE Today for two years. He started his journalistic career as a comedy writer for the now defunct radio show “JockStraps Radio” on WQAM. Since then, he has done freelance work for the Miami Herald, ESPN Deportes, and several internet outlets. He also worked on the popular sunday sports talk show, “El Carusel Deportivo”, on radio Caracol. Ignacio started his career with Miami FC as a broadcast intern during the 2007-2008 season.
