| Introduction | Primarily a son of Eire with Spanish and French added; we all kicked with the same foot! My birthday is the birthday of both Michael Collins and Oscar Wilde; which may explain both my political leanings and my private pleasures. I come from a Shanty Irish Wobbly family that felt Religion and Politics were essential topics of conversation. Sex was exluded, well I was raised Irish Catholic. I've traveled around two thirds the world and am proud to be a native Californian, Irish American and a modern Druid in the case of my metaphysical leanings. I am a Kennedy/Wellstone Liberal in this country, and a Sinn Fein Irish Republican back in the olde country. |

| Favorite books | All seven of the original Harry Potter novels as published and bought from Eason's Bookstore in Dublin Ireland, not the American versions. Dante's Divine Comedy. Good Science Fiction, Political Polemics, Spy Novels, especially John Le Carre. |
Radio wire is often used to make bird nests. What station do they listen to?
As a Ham Radio operator I know that they listen to the weather reports, forest service bulletins and NPR! As a political affecianado, I know that the more discerning birds like Terns, and Albatross listen to the old broadcasts of Radio Moscow, BBC Worldwide, and Radio Free Luxembourg.
