| Introduction | I design picture books by day, and freelance illustrate by night. I was born and raised in Kissimmee, FL., in the backyard of DisneyWorld. I graduated with my BFA in Illustration from Ringling College of Art + Design. I now prowl the streets of Crown Heights in Brooklyn, NY.
When I am not designing picture books, I am at home writing and creating stories of my own. I love pandas, flying kites, growing jungle plants, hair bows, and the smell of warm dog bellies. I dream of writing and illustrating stories that make kids laugh and smile and enjoy reading over and over again.
