Introduction	I'm a 46 year-old, married professional illustrator. After 4 failed IVF cycles, our healthy (and bouncing) baby boy was born in April '06, thanks to my cousin's donor eggs. We weren't infertile, but went through IVF and PGD in order to prevent passing on a terrible disease to my offspring. Thankfully, he'll be spared a short, miserable life - a small price to pay for not having my DNA passed on (what was so great about it anyway?)
