| Introduction | Unbeknownst to me, my study abroad during the summer of '07 would be a life altering experience for me. It felt as though I was always destined to travel, and I could never quite envision myself living forever here in the US. It would be like something in my life was missing if I hadn't done the study abroad program through my university. Days before I was scheduled to leave, I felt as though I was beginning to have second thoughts, but I ventured into the unknown, not at all ever regretting the decision I'd made.
