| Introduction | I'm a 40 year old Christian, frugal,stay-at-home, homeschooling, help-meet-to-my-husband, blessed mom of two. We live on 6 acres near Townsend in beautiful East Tennessee next to the Great Smoky Mountains. My husband's family has been here for generations and I'm a "furiner", I've only been here 20 years.:) We share our home with 3 dogs, 2 cats, 1 rabbit, a flock of chickens and bears, coyotes, bobcats, foxes and snakes (that's why we have 3 dogs!). We are not wealthy money-wise, we try to get-by and make-do with what we have, take each day as it comes, and, most of all, have faith in God. I blog about free and low-cost homeschooling, homemaking, frugal living, gardening, free e-books, open-source and freeware computer software, educational sites, herbs, nature, animals, Townsend, Tn, the Great Smoky Mountains and lots of pictures of our piece of "The Peaceful Side". |
