Introduction Rick St. Hilaire is executive director of a cultural property protection nonprofit, in-house corporate counsel for a global charitable organization, and a member of the Cultural Property Advisory Committee. He is an experienced litigator and legal counselor who has been practicing law since 1993. He is certified by the International Foundation for Cultural Property Protection as an institutional protection manager. Attorney St. Hilaire is a former elected chief prosecutor who served 15 years as a prosecuting attorney. He has tried numerous cases to verdict, and his legal practice focuses on corporate counsel, litigation, cultural heritage law, museum administration and risk management, and nonprofit law. He is an active member of the Cultural Properties Council of ASIS International. He taught cultural property law at Plymouth State University for seven years. Attorney St. Hilaire earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from Columbia University and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. He is a member of the bars of New Hampshire and Washington, DC as well as authorized house counsel in CT.
