IntroductionIn May 2006 Callum Campbell was selected to stand as the Scottish Conservative candidate for the Bridge of Allan and Dunblane ward at the local government elections which were held on May 3rd 2007. Subsequently, Callum was elected with the Scottish Conservatives gaining the largest number of first preference votes in his ward. Educated at Fettes in Edinburgh, Callum pursued a career as a stockbroker which led him to work in the City in London and Madrid. He is currently responsible for business development in Scotland within the Corporate Treasury division of a major European bank. Callum has lived in Bridge of Allan since 1997 and has been married to Judith since 1995. He has 2 daughters, Chloe (10) and Harriet (8) who both attend Bridge of Allan Primary School. In 2004 Callum was elected as a member of the Bridge of Allan Primary school board, and was subsequently elected as Chairman in 2005. Callum is the Stirling Conservative Group Spokesman for Education and is an elected member of the Central Scotland Valuation Joint Board and an elected meber of the Parental Appeals Panel.
