Introduction	I was first introduced to sailing over 30 years ago by a family friend who owned a small day sailer. Since that time my husband and I along with our boys as they came along have sailed everything from day sailers as small as 14 feet to large chartered yachts in the 50 foot range. Our first boat was a 14 foot Capri that we kept on Patrick Henry Lake and occasionally trailered to other lakes. Our next boat was a 27 foot O'Day which was had for two years before we updated to a newer boat with more "bells and whistles", a 272 Catalina which we keep at Lakeshore Marina on Watauga Lake. We also own a 40 foot J-Boat that we dock in Charleston, SC. We enjoy cruising, racing and just motoring at times.
