IntroductionI am married and have three children.I have lived in the Santa Clarita Valley for 27 years.I work as an assistant Food Stylist which is a fabulous job and has enabled me to spend a lot of time with my children. I love developing recipes, even the disasters can be fun (well, it gives my family something to joke about anyway). For instance,my first three attempts at developing a wheat free english muffin recipe was pretty awful. My daughter said that she hoped she never had to try eating those hockey puck things again! I live for bringing my friends and family together to share a meal or just some appetizers and a refreshing adult beverage.Life is good.
InterestsCooking, recipe development for KHTS AM1220 and for my wheat/gluten free cook book, gardening, entertaining, reading, taking walks with our dog Molly, spending time with my family and friends, laughing
Favorite moviesI will have to give the short list. We have not had television for over 10 years! I know, now you think I'm weird. If you don't pay for cable where I live you just get a blue screen when you turn on the tellie. So, we do have a television set, just no TV. We have been getting netflix for as long as I can remember and it's great!! I'm a bit of a romantic, so here goes; Pride and Prejudice, Sense & Sensibility, The Holiday, Love Actually, Practical Magic, Shaun of the Dead...hey, it's a romantic zombie movie! Independence Day, Big Fish,I don't think this space is big enough for me to continue.
Favorite musicMy tastes are very eclectic. My itunes music library has everything from Rage Against The Machine to Celtic and Jazz. I listen to music all day. I am a big fan of Pandora Radio.
Favorite booksI just finished reading The Pillars of the Earth and am awaiting the sequel, World Without end to arrive at my local library. I read the last two books in the Twilight series and couln't put them down, please don't hate me, they were great! I am reading The Good Earth right now and really enjoying it.I loved Exodus, Hawaii, The Mists of Avalon,The Red Tent,The Secret Life of Bees, The Time Travelers Wife, The DaVinci Code, The Tuscan Year, My Life in France, etc
