| Introduction | I'm a Midwestern guy raised on Midwestern sports. That means disappointing Cubs baseball, hard-nosed, defensively-minded Bears football, the Jordan Bulls, and Big Ten conservatism. I think sports speak volumes about society. I always dreamed more about being a general manager than a player. I still lay in bed at night trying to figure out what my favorite teams will do in their upcoming drafts, regardless of whether those drafts are hours or months away.
