IntroductionLevel headed, creative, always thinking, prone to eat too many sweets. best job ever? Mom. Worst job ever? Mom. (you know the days I'm talkin' 'bout!) I think big, work hard, and try to keep my eye on the ball. Always have a vision for where I am going, but finding the most direct route is illusive. I love people and am constantly amazed at the courage that so many people have in facing their challenges. Sometimes I talk too much, challenge authority, and enjoy the process of building a nest. I like creature comforts, but usually don't wait for help to arrive. I am optimistic.
InterestsBesides my family I love music, art and anything that gets my hands dirty... gardening, playing with my animals (horses and dogs), working with clay (a new thing), and reading. Quoting movies usually entertains others and that is always fun.
Favorite moviesI watch my favorite movies instead of watching TV shows. I watch what I'm in the mood for. Westerns: Tombstone, Open Range, Old Yeller. Chick flicks: You've Got Mail, Chocolate, Anything Jane Austin, Shakespeare, I like some oldies like Roman Holiday and speaking of Gregory Peck one of my all time favorite movies is Old Gringo. Also a guilty pleasure for fun is The Fifth Element. "Multipass"
Favorite musicWow! I like a lot of different things and my daughters are always introducing me to new artists. Thanks Girls! I love music to either enhance my mood or to alter it. I could never say that one genre is a favorite there are too many to choose from. I have a wide and varied collection of music from classical, folk, classic rock, anything upbeat and fun... Cheryl Crow, Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, I like latin guitar, and stuff my kids give me to listen to.
Favorite books" I could no more chose a favorite star in the heavens" Drew Barrymore in Everafter. I just read To Kill A Mockingbird and a few titles by Walter Mosely (Devil in a Blue Dress). Love the classics, will never have time to read all that I would like to.
