Introduction	My name is Emma Ashcroft. I am currently studying for a Masters in Biological Sciences at the University of Liverpool. My main scientific interests lie in Ecology, Evolution and Conservation. When outside of the science bubble (and inside it to be honest..), I am passionate about politics and strongly believe in the importance of actively getting involved if you want to achieve change. I aim to eventually work in environmental policy for the civil service. This blog is intended to showcase some of my writing and give opinions on recent scientific developments.
