Introduction | Well I am Mr Horne and I have been a Make up Artist since 1990. This was decided in a bathroom in Berlin. I decided, I left I painted. I have worked for MAC right at the cusp of the excitement, taught their 'unofficial' official make up school secret 1 week courses and then taught as a Path Leader on the Fda Fashion Editorial Pathway at the London College of Fashion. I currently Direct the Education at Jemma Kidd Make Up School along with retaining my role as a freelance Professional Make up. I have worked in most genres of make-up but for me catwalk is where my heart lies. Film...too much continuity issues..Editorial...too slow, too much hair time...and I am far to obsessed with perfecting make up for modern productions who want to rush everything. I love perfect make up. I am the generation where that still counted not retouched. The best make up artist I have ever seen is Phyllis Cohen. Val Garland is amazing at Technical, Sharon Doswett at Expression, Alexsandra Byrne at Foxy Beauty, and Marco Antonio at Lashes! The most creative person I know is Sinden. He is a creative star who recently returned to Australia.Thank you Charlie Green....this is all your fault. |
