| Introduction | Since 2003 I've been very interested in birds and bird songs, but soon realized that I had no knowledge of the surrounding environment. I could readily identify a yellow-bellied sapsucker, but not the tree it was perched on. This blog is my attempt to educate myself in all things natural in the Triangle (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) and beyond. I am so grateful to all of the incredibly talented and knowledgable people here in the Triangle who have helped me along these paths (metaphorical and real): Will Cook, Jeff Pippen and Milo Pyne amongst others. |
