| Introduction | This specific blog is about my husband - Jim Thompson. Jim developed a very sudden onset vertigo in December of 2010. He tried numerous treatments/docs with no good results. Because of his background as a commericial SCUBA diver, including being a hyperbaric chamber operator, he had the idea of HBOT therapy. Read the beginning of the blog.... Karen (me) Mostly raised in Colorado, I love the outdoors. I studied geology and geophysics at university (BS,MS) and work in the energy exploration business. My husband and I operate two businesses, our geophysical consulting company, Chinook Geoconsulting, Inc., and fly fishing book/map authoring plus websites (coloradofishing.net, troutgear.com, wyomingfishing.net). We're both SCUBA instructors and love all types of sports. We spend about three months a year travelling with our RV, our cat (Y-Lee: we hope he will like to travel), raft, trail motorcycles, fly rods and work from the road. We love the west and explore as much as we can, trying to avoid people while being outside. |
