| Introduction | Someday I'd like to publish a book. But today is not that day. I struggle to finish things. I'm a perfectionist so it's hard to get farther than a few chapters before I get annoyed at something not being the way I want it to be. Never once have I actually finished a book. Well, on paper anyway. I've finished nearly dozens in my head. But I can't share them from my head. Let me get something straight before we begin. This is not a place for my best stories. The ones I think might go places or be something. This is a place for the misfits. The ones that aren't long enough for a full book. The ones that fit the mold. The ones that would otherwise stay on my mental shelves or the digital shelves of my laptop. I don't know how often I'll write. Or if it will be sequences of the same story or short stories here and there. This is a processing station for my crazy mind. And you get to ride along. So buckle up. This could be a wild ride. |
