| Introduction | I am currently a senior at the University of Southern California, majoring in political science with a minor in French. I have recently returned from a year abroad, spending my fall semester of 2007 in the coastal province of Kenya, and continuing on to spend this past spring semester in Paris, France. I have been touched and motivated by these two incredible opportunities, in particular my unique experience studying in Kenya, which has ignited within me a passionate interest and curiosity in the African continent. Upon my graduation this coming spring, I hope to find a career that reflects these two particular journeys, allowing me to travel, to express my creativity, and to broaden my cultural understanding. The purpose of this blog is to acknowledge the efforts made by international citizens to find sustainable, pragmatic , and innovative solutions to important issues, focusing on Africa as my particular geographical perimeter. |
