| Introduction | I am a typical people pleasing perfectionist. I am convinced that everything I do could have been done better and the responsibility of making everyone else happy somehow falls on my shoulders. After nearly 25 years of putting myself under such pressure I have decided to toss all care to the wind and pursue something I have wanted to do ever since I can remember. Write. Write a book that will be published. The topic of my book is chosen, the characters mostly worked out. However, I am in great need of practice. The only way I know how to get better at something is to do it!! So, here goes. I shall write a little of this and a little of that. Stories may stop and start with my own opinion pieces stuffed inbetween. What I write may not always make sense. It may seem scattered or silly. I am finally okay with writing pieces that are not brilliant, that need work and that will help me grow as a writer. |
