Introduction | I have only been card crafting for about a year or so. I got fed up of spending hours in card shops searching for the right card to fit the recipiant only then to find when I got to the till it was the most expensive one on the shelf! So I decided that it was time to have a dabble and make my own cards to send to friends and family. I got hooked instantly. What satisfaction it is when you've finished a card and posted it knowing that before you started it was a blank piece of card that I had transformed into something special. Then the phone call would come thanking me for such a gorgeous card. What a boost of confidence that was! That got me thinking, maybe they are good enough to make for others to send to their friends and family, so I started to tell people I knew that if they wanted any card making I was up for the challenge and would charge a coupel of quid for my time and materials. And so here I am today! |
